Problems With Voice Mail Passcode

For some reason when I updated to Version 4.0 my iPhone lost the pass code for my AT&T voice mail. I didn't remember what the 4 digit code was, so I went into my AT&T voice mail and set a new password. I went into Settings to input the new password but it asks for the original password in order to change it and I don't remember what it is. How can I get around this problem?

BTW I did a reset of the phone but it didn't erase the old passcode.
