ok, so i dropped my iphone into a cup of water about a week ago. It was only in there for about 3 seconds, it fell speackers 1st and only got covered about 1/2 way up the phone. It shut off and i wrapped it in a towel for the night, the next day i put it in the sun to let it dry out. I soon connected it to my wall charger and it turned on. it seemed to work fine, with no problems. Soon it began to reset and just cycle between the apple load window crash and restart over and over until the phone dies, but if i hook it up to the usb on my laptop it will turn on. Also I am having problems with my wake/silent bottom i can't turn it off using the bottom, but i can reset the iphone by holding the home bottom and the wake/silent bottom so i can safely say the bottom is not broken. I erased all settings using itunes, also through the iphone, and i also reinstalled firmware 1.1.4 and i still have the problems. Is there anyway to totally reformat the iPhone to a brand new state because i feel this is a software issue, since there was no damage to the wake/silent bottom. Or is my Iphone bottom broken? Any advice would be great!!!
