Problems with X11 installation from original CD

I have recently had to install a new hard disk on my Mac Book Tiger, and I went on and installed Gimp with out knowing the X11 requirements for correct function of the program. After researching a bit here and there I went along to install X11 and the related Xcode tools from the original Installation Disc 1 but I still can't find X11 in my utilities anywhere.

Looking for any advice in installation of X11 here and there and other tips.

It's part of the optional installs package on the disk. At least that's where it was for me if I remember correctly. You can also find X11 on Apple's web site, you just have to make sure you get the right version.
