problems with xtorrent and acquisition?

i haven't used acquisition since they upgraded to 2.0 or whatever that just didn't work with leopard at all. i switched to xtorrent which worked well enough. tried looking for something today and it just freezes on me.
anyone else having this problem? suggestions?
