Here
I am at my university (without my charger) and my estimated battery life is only 3 hours with a full charge. I looked into activity monitor and noticed a process called "accountsd" is using 60%+ CPU with over 7 hours of CPU time.

Does anyone know what this process is? Can I quit it?

----------

There is also a process called "securityd" using between 10-12% CPU constantly.

"accountsd" is related to Mail, but no settings have changed. Is there a reason Mail would suddenly use so much CPU or is it just a buggy program?

"securityd" is related to file vault, but I've used FV for years and never had a process like that running with so much CPU.
