Process or how to backup Application settings?

One of the biggest thing about restoring a device is that all my settings that i have done on 3rd party apps or even the native ones is having to manually input all those things in again.

Is there anyway to save those settings so that I don't have to keep going into each application and inputting them?

Is there an app out there even? Or am I missing something?
