proclip tilt swivel issues

I've had my proclip setup since mid-april and I am having issues with the tilt swivel not staying in its position. I try to keep it up but the weight of the phone brings the swivel back down. Is there a way to fix it or should I just buy the one with no tilt swivel? I feel like this is too short of a life for this product given all the good reviews I have seen for it.

There should be a screw dead center of the mount that you can tighten/loosen to adjust the swivel's sensitivity with. It seems to loosen a bit over time to so every few months I pop a screwdriver in there to tighten it and it's good to go.
