If you have a Red Nano can you tell me if your icon when the nano mounts is silver or red? Mine is silver but I was hoping it'd be red. I'm very picky I think.

maybe someone in the design section might be able to make one for you, cause it will look cool.
even though i dont have a red ipod ill still use it on one of my desktop folders

I can make one actually I was just curious if it was supposed to be red.

I just got a new Nano (PRODUCT) RED and it actually shows up without any icons in iTunes - and on my desktop it looks like a generic mounted disc image.

Any ideas how I can make it show up on my desktop and in iTunes with a proper icon?

Weird...mine actually shows up as red.

Mine shows up as red also, it has from the start. Both in iTunes, Finder, and on the Desktop.
