Our Pioneer XL1 dual DVD recorder has given up the ghost. As some of our clients like a DVD as well as a Beta (unfortunately more and more TV stations are wanting product on DVD...don't ask) we like to burn a DVD at the same time as record a BetaSP.

There seems to be a dearth of options out there for a replacement (only thing I can find on B&H is a medical grade DVD burner, which seems like overkill - we're so not worrying about interference with heart monitors!)

Is nobody making or using them anything on the Pro level any more? Just using standard DVD recorders from Circuit City/Best Buy/etc? (which don't have the fine-tuning of recording time any more)

It seems the commercial/industrial DVD recorder market has dried up. Pioneer discontiuned their line a while back ... at least for sale in the U.S.

Let us know if you find something decent.
