./profile help!!!

Hi guys,

I was trying to set path to the newly installed SML compiler (SMLNJ) and i was messing with the /usr/etc/profile, i think i screwed it up and the path is screwed! Anyway to restore that? Any other way to set the path other than editing that profile file?

btw, i am a mac noob!

fixed.

basically i went back to the directory, did /usr/bin/vi profile and edited it!
