Do files like WinRAR and WinZIP work on Mac or is there a Mac program used for these types of files.

Also, does the stock system come with a program that plays DVDs?

And finally is there any way I can make it so I have a right click button without having to press control?

1). A unzip program is included in OS X, UnRarX is a replacement for WinRAR.

2). If the system has a DVD drive, it has a DVD Player installed.

3). Get a two-button mouse :D.

Finder will open .ZIPs, StuffIt Expander should be able to open .RARs too, and it will open .SITs and .SITXs, which are far more common in the Mac world. DVD player ships with all computers and OSes.

I've never seen a Mac program come in .rar. Has anyone else?

Can't say I have. I've only seen it for some Windows apps, and even there other alternatives are taking over.

I was wondering cause I was going to zip up my Mp3's to transfer it over to a Mac if I decide to finally get one.
