Program Error-OSX Server to OS9 Mac

Hello,

I have a OSX server with a dozen mac's connected to it, running OS9. When I work from the server (not the smartest thing, I know) and try to save over the file I'm working on, I get a program error and "This file cannot save to the server because of a program error." I can drag the old file to the trash and then save to the server.

However, I cannot delete those files in the trash because they "can't be found."

Does anyone know what the deal is? Has anyone ever experienced this?
