Program for showing what Airport you are connected to?

I have 2 Airport xtremes and 2 Airport xpress's.

Is there anything I can download to show what unit a computer is connected to?
I.E. if I am in the bedroom, I can see what device the computer is actually connected.

If you Option-click on the Airport icon in the menu bar then it will show the MAC address of the unit to which you're connected - is that of use?

Yeah but that is not a good solution as I don't know the addresses at all times. Can we assign a name to associates the station? I don't know of a way.
