With AlDente I can choose that the MBP will not charge over 80%.

Is there an euqivalent to Windows 10 (Bootcamp)?
I couldn't find, only for Samsung Laptops (Battery LIife Extender, it doesn't work on MBP).

Thanks.

I know that some of the gaming laptops include utilities that will perform the same functions as Al Dente - MSI's Dragon Center is the one my Windows machine uses. I did find something on Microsoft's site that should point you in the right direction, though:

Thanks, it is not really working.
Fortunately I do not use Windows so often, so that‘s ok, kinda.

sorry to resurrect ancient thread, but just found in another forum, while not exactly AlDente replacement, but if you block the middle pin in the magsafe connector, the macbook will not charge, but won't drain either, so its kinda solving the same problem.

AlDente for Intel Macs also works in Bootcamp. You need to first set it up in MacOS and make sure to eable "Intel Mode". Then your MacBook should remember the maximum charge setting -- even when booting Windows in Bootcamp.

That's great to hear, also Rimmsi stated that it works the same way with the Charge Limiter application. My question is if it's going to work without macOS as the 2nd system since I was considering to keep Windows only on my mac. I guess if I make the clean installation of Windows only then I won't be able to set that battery percentage level again?

I don't know about Aldente, but setting the battery level with Charger Limiter does not affect the operating system in any way. If you reset SMC, battery charge limit will be removed.

I just tried to find some information about that and you are right as these apps simply change the SMC key "BCLM" (Battery control level maximum) to whatever level you set it with these apps. I was also asking since I just didn't want to keep macOS as a secondary os potentially wasting at least 20GB of precious space on my 256GB mac only in order to be able to run this app which weighs about 2MB.
