I know that iTunes allows one to rip a CD with "error correction", but I'm wondering if there is a stand-alone app that can be used to verify the playability of a disc without listening to all 45-60 minutes of it.

I use Lala.com, and I like to say a disc is rec'd as soon as I get it, but at the same time I don't have time to listen to them all to verify they are indeed in good shape.

Any help out there would be REALLY appreciated.
