Program to make instrumentals?

I was just wondering if there is any program for the Mac that will take an mp3 song and be able to convert it to an instrumental. Something that would take out vocals. Is there such a program? Thanks!

Removing vocals probably isn't going to turn out well. Let me guess, karaoke or you're looking for musical accompaniment to something?

There have been other threads on this. a search via mroogle will find them. Programs that attempt to remove vocals or instrumentals do not work well. The results are usually a mess.
