Hi all-
I'm new to the forum but was wondering if somebody could direct me to a program that would allow me to rip a DVD from vob files?
Thanks in advance,
Jon

ok, kinda confused, whats the source, whats the target?

Sorry for a little ineptitude, I'm new at downloading any kind of video. As far as the source they are files I downloaded of a P2P site...here's the description
Video Attribute :
Video compression mode : MPEG-2
TV system : 525/60 (NTSC)
Aspect Ratio : 4:3
Display Mode : reserved
Source picture resolution : 720x480 (525/60)
Frame Rate : 29.97
Source picture letterboxed : Not letterboxed
Bitrate : Disk 1 8.000 Mbps
Disk 2 8.400 Mbps
Disk 3 8.400 Mbps

The files show up on my computer as just VBO.

My hope was to burn them using dvd-r (off of a macbook).

Clevin-
Thanks for the info! The site I downloaded it from already has the images in a *iso format. Is it possible to just use the macthe ripper than to burn those files onto a DVD? (I ask because I came across a free download just now).

oh, dear, that would be really easy
use either simplyburns or burn to burn the image (*.iso) to dvd, just choose their "burn image" function.
mac the ripper can rip your DVD disk to your hard drive as VOB files, so its not what u need here.

Clevin-
I'll give it a shot tonight. Thanks again for the info., it's really helpful to a mac newbie like me!
