I am currently enrolled in classes that have some electronic self-study software that is not compatible with a Mac. I dont have a copy if Windows to install and don't run any other pc programs so not wanting to get a copy. They have given me a suggestion if using Codeweaver's Crossover for Mac program. Is this program decent or are there better ones to use andcwhat are they? I will prob use it for these classes and maybe one or two things in the future.

Crossover is really your only option, and even then it does not run every windows program.

Often you can get a free copy of Windows from your college if you need it for school work. This is how I got my copy a few years ago. You'll need to talk to whoever is in charge of the school's MSDN (Microsoft Developers Network) account.

You can then use Windows in Bootcamp, Parallels, VMware Fusion, or VirtualBox. Bootcamp and VirtualBox being the free alternatives.
