program to transfer music

what program is there to transfer ALL MY FILES MUSIC AND VIDEOS onto my new macbook pro? i got an ipod touch 1.1.2 jailbroken.

if i connect my ipod to the new computer will it reset and will i lose all my apps?

If it is from another Mac why not use Migration Assistant or just set it up so you can see the old computer on the new computer (network) and drag them over or get an external hdd and transfer them that way.

I have a iPod touch also and I'm able to connect it to both a Mac and a PC without being asked to format it. The easiest way to trasnfer files to you MacBook Pro is over the network. You could aslo connect the MacBook Pro to your other computer with a FireWire and transfer files that way, if I'm not mistaken.
