Programing keyboard in Pages09

I'm trying to program my keyboard to insert special characters in Pages. How can I do this?? I can't live without my greek alphabet lol
Just in case someone ever searches and wants an answer to this question:
You go to preferences in Pages and go to the autocorrect tab. You can program keystrokes in that will be autocorrected for a symbol (like aa for alpha). You have to drag the special character from the "special character pallet" (which u open thru the edit tab) up into the preferences window. Sort of a pain to set up but it works!!
