Programs closing too slow.

It just started like an hour ago but when pressing apple+Q the program takes like 4 seconds to close. Like in safari, I quit and the safari name in the top left corner goes blue for a little then the window disappears. Any help on this?

Have you had a look at activity monitor? Generally that's a symptom of either something maxing out the processor(s), or no available RAM. If neither is the case (heck, even if it is), try restarting. If that doesn't help, then it's time to start troubleshooting.
