Programs no longer start automatically

I've had a few instances where, after a while, some programs no longer start automatically when I turn on my computer.
After reinstalling macOS Tahoe, it works again.
Do any of you have any ideas how to fix this?

Look at login items. Are the apps that should auto start there?

Yes they are

Try removing them adding them back

I tried it, but it still doesn't work.
The strange thing is that some programs start and some don't.
