What does this usually mean? I've had a few programs that open then you try and do something and it shuts automatically over and over.
I've run disk permissions/repair and still no dice.

Also, when I run the permissions verify/repair it comes up with:

I'm getting the spinning wheel more frequently too.

My computer is a 2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 160HD, 2GB 667 Mgz white macbook, been running SL since it came out.

any advice would be sweet.
cheers

That would mean they are not pregnant. I have never seen that error before.
OTOH "unexpectedly" would mean it wasn't expected.

Could be apps that don't run well under SL. It would have helped had you said what the apps are, and what version, but if they are Apple apps, that's not going to be the issue.
Try a Google such as appname version snow leopard quits

Did you check for updates for those apps?
