project management and mind mapping s/w

don't suppose anyone could suggest any Project Management or Mind Mapping s/w

im currently using MS Project at uni and was wondering what there is on the mac that might be either Free or just costs a little,
same with mind mapping s/w really

i've played around with myMind a while ago but didnt like it too much
i used something called freemind on the PC years ago and that was really good but i dont think it works too well on the macintosh (from what i remember)

any ideas anyone

The Omni Group (makers of OmniGraffle, OmniOutliner, and OmniWeb) have a project management app currently in beta... OmniPlan. Their other software is great, so this is probably worth checking out.

check out omnigraffle and omnioutliner, both great for that kind of thing. depending on when u bought your mac they might have even come with it for FREE!
