I need to use a USB to Serial cable to connect to Windows on my new M1Max MBP.
I have successfully installed it on my older 2018 mob on the Win10 side.
Right now, I don't know if the issue is win 10/11 or the ARM windows or the ARM processor.

I'm going to try to install Win 10 - but that's not as push button as Win11 was with Parallels.
I'm also going to try to install to Mac and share to Win, but my app needs a port so I'm not sure how that might work.

If anyone has experience or knowledge of if this is possible or any workarounds, please let me know.

I can confirm it installs perfectly on my 2018 intel mbp running parallels and win11. So it's likely the ARM windows.

or the ARM windows or the ARM processor.
That would be it -- you will need a driver for both your Mac, and the Windows VM. I have no clue if it's available, but I would be kind of surprised if it were. I'd ask the Parallels people if they know something that would work.
