Promise Pegasus R4/R6

Dear all,

I just bought a new promise R6 from the apple store, however I found that the serial number appeared on the box is different from the Promise Utility's Subsystem information's serial number. U guys may check yours. Is that normal?

I just checked my R4... and like you... my serial number is not the same. They are not even closely related.

Dear Jim,

Many thanks for your prompt reply, I also checked the Part Number also does not match, Box: F40.... while in Promise Utility: F29....., all are different and do not match.........maybe it is normal, I just worried Promise sent me a repaired one. Seems no need to worry. Thanks again!
