Okay, so ever since Apple started allowing developers to give out free promo codes for their apps, it seems that the forums are becoming littered with those threads. Now granted, I have taken use of several codes, but the number of these threads is becoming large, and some of these threads come off as spam.

Now I know that they aren't pure spam, but they becoming a little bit of a nuisance. Has an official stance been taken on these threads by the gods/mods yet? And if one hasn't been taken yet, would there be any consideration of making a sub-forum somewhere for the Promo codes? That way users that don't have any interest in these codes could ad that forum to their ignore list.

Im sure it will change soon. I don't see any reasons not to, and there has been numerous threads on it.

I'm for it.
