It says instant rebate of $199. Would that apply for macbooks as well?

Sure...it's the same as the regular iPod deal. Buy a Mac and an iPod and get $199. The only difference is that most people have to mail in the form and will receive a rebate check. Apparently RI and CT law requires that the rebate be given at the time of purchase.
