Promoting an iPhone app

I would like some input as to what is the best method for promoting an iPhone app. Has anyone tried Craigslist?

Promote an app on craigslist? That's a new one.

If your app is worthy enough, submit it right here to Macrumors or any number of other Apple/Mac/iPhone sites (Apple Insider, TUAW, etc...)

If you see your app as a good revenue source, buy up some advertising on these sites as well.

^^ I would agree, post a few promotional codes for members here and let them fly with it. You may be surprised plus the reviews are priceless.

Thanks for the help. I believe my app is quite worthy and I it should do well, just gotta get some eyes on it. I posted a few codes earlier. If you or anyone else would like one, send me a PM and I will hook it up.
