Promoting my APP

After many newbie efforts and discoveries, my APP is submitted.

Whilst I wait approyval I was hoping to do some promotion.

Being totally novice to marketting I was wondering what recommendation you people have in this area.

The APP is actually a reference guide enriched with my consultancy firms knowledge on financial systems and SOX

Wait until your app is approved, then post a link on it here and other forums or blogs. maybe hand out some codes for a free download (if it's a paid app).

If you're alone in this, you will have a lot of work. You will have to be a designer, marketer and publicist.

- First, you need a site (beautiful, professional and appealing) without a website you will be nothing.

- Second, to do a press release with a good description of the application and send it to ALL the means of communication that you can.

- Third, get in ALL forums related (app forums and in your case, financial forums), you need to READ the forum rules to see if you can advertise there and then create a thread.

- Fourth, spend at least three hours a day repeating steps two and three for the rest of your life! lol
