ProMotion gonna be a thing?

This seems the next step in mobile device technology.

We know Apple use it in the iPad Pro line, will it make it to the 8 and 8+ and does the AMOLED panel in the X by default do 120hz.

This could be the clincher for me whether to get an 8+ or the X as I’d take an 8+ with 120hz over an AMOLED that doesn’t.

The one feature that most here would prefer over Face ID is ProMotion. Too bad it seems like it would be more useful if the iPhone had pencil support and a larger display so maybe next year. Also the 120 HZ is putting the battery life at risk even with a variable refresh rate. Too soon........

I also would like to see the Promotion display implemented into the iPhone X. But I also question how much technology is Apple going to incorporate into one iPhone as well. But the 120 HZ refresh rate is a nice feature.

For a £1000 it’s got to be more than a redesign and AMOLED.
