Well I ordered my up to date snow leopard disk last month and apple informed me that my card will not be charged until my order is about to be shipped. My total order with tax was $10.65. Well I just checked my PNC account online and it showed a $10.65 charge from the Apple Online Store that was effective on August 20th 2009.

Yup I was charged already. It serves as no proof.

Oh thats weird my card was charged the day after my order and then it was refunded an hour later and I got a email from Apple appolagizing that they charged my card either and it wont be charged again until it is about to ship.

Thats no proof at all cause like the ppl above me i keep getting charged on and off... looks like they wont really take the money till it is shipped to me

dont believe them they always say your card will not be charged until your items are shipped, well amazon/buy/newegg and apple.com say the same but always charge before shipping. might be the computer but thats how it is.. i complained about that one time and got free shipping because of it. i get an email alert saying my card was charged online (not swiped) every time so i know :)

So you agree that it was late. Or, rather, you agree that your point is meaningless because every release can be taken from two different points of view.

Here:

There. Smiles to take the sting out, avoid hurt feelings.

I am not concerned with your point of view. You feel Leo was late. Therefore, to you, it was. To Apple, the only entity with control over the release, it wasn't late.

Same with SL. All the bickering, speculating, babbling -- all pointless. SL will release when :apple: is darn good and ready, and not before.
