here is a video by ATT that clearly says if you have ANY smartphone unlimited plan you are welcome to keep it that way when you upgrade to the Iphone4

I have seen tons of questions about this and wanted to clear it up

I think this has been covered, we are grandfathered into the old plan.

I agree, it has been covered, but still people cant seem to understand....

So I made "another" thread to clarify this point again :p

Most people were confused if they had a blackberry or palm os unlimited plan if that would transition to the Iphone 4 without having to get the 2gb plan.

are they making other smart phone users eligible early for the new iPhones too??

like say you have a BB or HTC, will they offer you the new iPhnoe for the $199/299 prices?

It hasn't been covered ENOUGH! LOL! There's people on other threads that are still saying only iPhone data plans are grandfathered in.

Everyone on MacRumors needs to watch this video.

But apparently, per the OP in this thread, AT&T store employees are still telling people that it's only current iPhone owners that can be grandfathered in, which is contrary to everything AT&T is saying on the corporate side. There is obviously a HUGE disconnect between headquarters and stores that needs to be mended in the next week and a half.

To the OP, thanks for finding and posting this.

Dear Internet,

Please watch this and stop asking and posting thread, after thread, after thread about your eligibility. Google is your friend too.

Sincerely,

PorterRocks
