I currently have an adjustable ProClip setup in my 2014 Focus. While I think the ProClip setup is the best, admittedly it is expensive.
I was disappointed to find out that my current setup won't adjust wide enough for my iPhone 6+. I had been planning on ordering the wider kit but instead stumbled upon Proper Studios.
First off, here's my setup in my Focus. (Please disregard the paper dust.)

Looking at the back you can see how it works. It's adjustable width wise and it allow you to turn 90°.

Searching around for a minimal, yet tough case, I stumbled on Proper Studios.

They offer 2 different cases. I went with the strong case.

What I find particularly interesting is the back of the case.

It turns out you can buy this magnetic piece that allows you to stick your phone where ever you want.

I don't really know why you'd do this, but here's an example of one stuck to the wall.

So this got me thinking. Instead of spending the money to replace my car mount with a larger adjustable mount, I ordered a few of those sticky magnetic mounts.
I'm going to take apart my adjustable ProClip and remove the arms. Then I'll stick the new mount on it.
I think it'll look cool because the phone will just be floating there. Plus, I can just stick it on landscape mode, even though the mount itself can turn as well.
I just thought it was a neat solution and you guys might be interested.
The case and magnetic mounts will ship around Halloween.
