Is there a risk to not screwing down lower case in a zig-zag or star pattern and then torquing the screws down?
ifixit and even the apple manual do not mention this, but it got me thinking...
What if all the "tension" of the lower case is being "pulled" on by the last screw... I noticed that as I screwed down the last screw that the lower case seemed to move downward towards the base with the screw. Clearly it was a tight fit, but I'm worried if this tension will eventually "pull" the screw right out of the socket.
