Proper way to sell iPhone 5 to buy iPhone 5S

I will be purchasing the iPhone 5S at my local AT&T store on Friday morning. After the transaction is complete I'm going to sell my iPhone 5 on Craigslist. It's unlocked. Now that when you restore your phone it asks for the original apple id password how do i make sure the buyer is able to restore properly without having to enter my info?

Turn off find my iPhone in iCloud settings, delete your iCloud account and reset the device. It will not ask for an Apple ID after that.

Will deleting my iCloud account on the phone remove it from apple or just the phone?

Just the phone, but follow the above poster's advice, just make sure to turn off find my iPhone so that your new owner doesn't get trouble with activation lock.
