Hi everyone,

I just came across an interesting proposed mechanism for the iPhone 5's cycloramic.app done by a high school student. The developer of the app (CycloramicApp) has left a comment on one of the videos stating `Great explanation, thank you!'

There are two YouTube videos, one giving a shorter vocal explanation and one giving a more detailed account. There is also a website giving the full physical explanation of the proposed mechanism, including how it explains 8 different observations of the app in operation. Below are the links:

Detailed video: http://youtu.be/86nOE_HYEfQ

Short video: http://youtu.be/slOpxFwgLx0

Website: http://funphysicsfacts.dyndns-wiki....0702b/Gyroscope_Precession_Cycloramicapp.html

What do you all think about this proposed mechanism?

Regards,
Switon
