ProRes 422 vs ProRes 422 HQ

When doing things editing HD EyeTv footage or editing HD footage from a consumer grade camcorder, how much difference will choosing 422 or 422 HQ actually make? The reason I ask is ProRes 422 files are about half the size of ProRes 422 HQ files.
