I recently got an iPhone 6, which is at 8.0.2. Is there any pros/cons when it comes to updating my phone from 8.0.2 to 8.1.2?

Stability and Bug fixes.

And the ringtone bug for affected users.

I'm on iOS 8.1.2 with no issues.

So it's a matter of choice.

Well 8.1 and 8.1.1 was definitely better than 8.0.2. Stability and bug fixes were noticeable. I have not make the jump to 8.1.2 yet as I don't purchase ringtones and 8.1.1 battery is stellar. But I would say go for it. Have read 8.1.2 was even more stable at least on the 6 series. If I was on 8.0.2 I would make the jump on my device. (iP6)

Apple Pay is enabled I believe and a few bug fixes and performance enhancements.

Pretty sure there was no Apple Pay on 8.0.x.

Also Text Message Forwarding was enabled in 8.1. Probably what made it the most worth it for me! It seems like a lot of people really don't care about that feature but I personally love it.
