Hi,

I was wondering if there is any product available that can be placed over the SuperDrive bay door to protct it from dust, etc.? s
I have a cover for the MAC itself but something seperate for the optical drive is very necessary?

cheers.

Would not surprise me if something was available, but I have never heard of anything

There is already a curtain on the inside edge of the drive that protects it from dust and debris. Also the motion of the discs often blow out anything that may get in there. So don't worry about it, the drives will last for years, there is no need to waste money on something that is not needed.

The slot loading drive in my PowerBook (turned six years old today) still works fine with semi-regular use. I wouldn't spend any money on one.
