All my Protected AAC files will not play on my iPod but they do play on iTunes.
iTunes Plus songs work just fine.

I've reinstalled iTunes. The computer is authorized (otherwise the songs wouldn't play in iTunes). I've removed all my songs from the library, synced, added the songs back, sync and still the Protected songs only wont work.

Anyone know why this would happen?

If your running a jailbroken iPod, thats probably the problem as I've read alot has happen to other people who jailbroken their 1.1.3 firmware.

well that's not good. Is there a new conversion tool available, or do I have to burn it to a CD and rip?

Edit: This just makes me want to use Amazon more and more.

Searching is win. If you went from 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 you WILL have DRM problems. Going from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 caused no problems for me.

I DID go straight from 1.1.1 to 1.1.3. I'll remember to go to 1.1.2 next time. Thanks.

In the meantime, I installed iTunes 7.5 and ran QTFairUse to make DRM free copies.
