I want to keep personal data on my IPT (SS# for family members, a few passwords I often use). How can I best keep them protected?

I use the 4-digit passcode, but that is not enough protection for my comfort.

Also, recommendations for the best way to keep this store this info on IPT - in a Contact, as a Note, other?

Um..how about we don't put this info on the IPT. I do NOT recommend.

Saving that info on your Ipod might be dangerous. Instead, I reccomend you email all of the sensitive info to me, and save my email address on your Ipod. Then you can email me for the information if you really need it.

I welcome any and all sensitive personal information. Social Security Numbers, Credit Card numbers, PINs... Just think of me as a living safety deposit box.

I don't trust emails so I will just post some info here ok:

SS# 523-44-5588
MC# 5458001805691414 exp 08/09

You must promise me that you will keep this all safe. Thanks

I see a sense of humor here.

BTW, I use CiphSafe (http://ciphsafe.sourceforge.net/) on my MB to protect pswds and other sensitive data. I imagine there are other apps which do the same thing. I was hoping something like this was available for the IPT.

Maybe after the February release of the SDK.
