I've been using a leather MagSafe wallet in the Wisteria (lilac) color for years. The dye or paint is all abraded off the raised areas, showing the black leather beneath. I happened across some new old stock on eBay, so now I have a fresh replacement and a backup.
Does anyone have any tricks to maximize the finish on these? I'm not going to obsess over it, but since these will never be available again, I'd love to maximize their lifespan. It's a pity they don't patina like a black or brown leather might (I guess the lilac color coming off to show the black underneath is a kind of patina, but not really an attractive look in my opinion).
