One of my kids swims competitively and uses her SE2 for tracking... um, whatever it tracks for swimming. I don't really know, but she loves it and uses it productively for training reasons. She has taken good care of it for quite a while now, but as it happens, she dropped it getting out of the pool and cracked the glass. It still works but I'm sure it is no longer suitable for water use.

Since she uses it so much for swimming, we got her a new SE3, but I want to get a case for it. All the cases I've seen so far are one piece wraparound types that - according to reviews - inevitably let water in between the face and the cover, rendering the touch screen unusable. I've done some searching here but haven't found a good solution yet. I swore I saw a 2 piece kit somewhere (rubber surround with raised lip and stick-on face cover) but I can't find it now. Any suggestions from swimmers / surfers / etc.?

Given that cracked glass is your main concern, AppleCare+ is probably the best and only protection she'll need. And with Express Replacement, they'll even send you a replacement watch before having you send the damaged one in.
