Protection for palm rest edges?

My MBP 15" is starting to get very tiny pits right on the edge of the palm rests, they look like little dots. I'm assuming its because thats exactly where my arms rest when I am typing.

Is there palm rest guards that cover the edges rather than ending at the edges?
