Hey everyone, I'm looking at buying a TiBook this winter and I want to make sure my investment is protected (in case it's stolen). Is there an Apple insurance policy? A $3,000 laptop should be secured somehow, seeing as it would be very easy to walk off with it.

Thanks,

Mike

Most computers are protected under your homeowners insurance policy, as long as you can provide the original sales recipt and a photocopy of the UPC on the computers box.

I don't believe Apple offers any kind of insurance. If your worried about it getting stolen, several lock are available which keep laptops locked to desks.
