Protective case that shows the beauty of the design?

My wife and I will (hopefully) be receiving our phones on Friday, hers in white and mine in black. I am trying to find a case for her phone that is very protective but still shows its beautiful design. I have been looking at the Otterbox Defender, but would prefer something less blocky. My wife drops her phone a lot (like weekly) so case needs to be very impact resistant. Any recommendations?

Lifeproof, the case is slim and protects agains drops.

Vapor Pro for you since it's the best case out there with the sexiest design - although at $150 your wife shouldn't get one since she drop her phone all the time. The case is very drop resistance (I've dropped my phone 5 feet with it) but since it's metal it doesn't look too nice after you drop it on concrete.
