iPad Protective folio style case for the air?

I am somewhat rough on my electronic devices and prone to dropping them. But I really want something more stylish that an otterbox or a survivor case. Ideally something along the lines of the smartcase style but with more protection. Any recommendations for a case that balances between the two and isn't hideous?

I picked up the Speck Style Folio today and it's fine if you're not hung up on the sleep wake function.

that's what I was considering but it didn't seem too protective..
