Mix Buddy for iOS offers beginning and advanced mix engineers a unique way for storing
EQ information and learning about audio mixing via EQ Blueprints and video tutorials.
New in Mix Buddy 1.1 is the abillity to create your own EQ Blueprints and save eq and
mix tips that you gather during study or from friends, books, magazines, blogs, etc.
Use EQ Blueprints to save and recall live sound eq settings or gain valuable information
during studio mixing. Mix Buddy 1.1 also adds more default EQ Blueprints and mix tips
for new instruments plus many new video tutorials on pro audio and mix technologies.
Whats an EQ Blueprint?
EQ Blueprints are collections of important frequencies for different instruments
that help you eq the sound of your mix. Each EQ Blueprint has a set of Droplets
representing the important frequencies. Tap a droplet and you get information
on how to adjust the frequency and what it does to the sound of your instrument.
EQ Blueprints also contain lots of mix tips on things like compression, reverb,
delay, and more.
