Just seen this on the bay - the guy won't ship to the UK (and ignored my e-mail asking if he would), so no use to me. However, this one looks like a prototype, so you other collectors might be interested.

It has apple stickers on the back (maybe just asset tags), but if you look at the photo of the sub, it's definitely a Bose prototype that was sent to apple.

It's a developer edition rather than a prototype. Not quite sure what that means in terms of tweaks or numbers produced.

I've been looking for a clear TAM for a while now, I'm not entirely sure that it exists, but whatever.
30 minutes left @ $202. I might have to pull the trigger :O

thats a absolute bargain i take 10 for that price , payed £1470 for mine ,ok mine was complete in original box as shipped from apple in May 1998 to the owner in germany and still in pristine as new condition like it left the factory , apart from i also bought a g3 upgrade card from sonnet for it and a 50gb harddrive , mates call me insane why i spend that much money on a obsolete old piece of computer rather then getting a brandnew mac ..but i simply love the pre intel Mac's and they do what i buy them for
and honestly it looks better then a iMac 27" and has way better sound and is rarer :p

WOW! that is a hell of a price. I thought £700 for mine with an upgrade was tasty!

yes thats what i was looking for complete in original box with even the original cardboard compartments and all booklets and original disc's and all the sweet things that came with a TAM :)

for me it was like christmas unpacking every piece :D
